Meet the Staff
From the outset, an essential strategy to ensure a strong, responsive foundation has been the assembly of individuals with both corporate and philanthropic expertise combined with a passion for youth. The SUCCESS Foundation staff represents the ideal blend of career and personal experiences. Each is talented in a variety of private and public endeavors, including business development and management, education, journalism, 501(c)(3) non-profit participation and so much more.
John Fleming
Board of Directors
John brings to the SUCCESS Foundation both a passion for and understanding of the principles of personal development and a commitment to demonstrating the importance of the education for youth.
John's experience includes 40 years as an entrepreneur, consultant, author and speaker. He serves on the boards of Greater Dallas chapter of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF). In 1997, the DSEF recognized his contributions with its highest honor, the Circle of Honor Award.
Kate Gardner
Executive Director
On the heels of 30 years in education and direct sales, Kate Gardner joined the SUCCESS Foundation for the next phase of her career—philanthropy, the wonderful world of giving back and making a difference in lives and communities.
In her capacity as Development Director, Kate encourages and requests the financial contribution of generous supporters to achieve the foundations's mission of inspiring 10 million teens to become the leaders of tomorrow. It's her job and joy to say "thank you," letting donors at all levels know that every dollar they have given goes directly toward placing a SUCCESS for Teens book or CD into the hands of a teen.
